Nitis

“nitis” is a genre-defiant sonic collection by Anthony Akap, composed as a nonlinear narrative unfolding across percussion ensemble scores, digital audio works, atmospheric soundscapes, avant-garde classical compositions, and electronic sampling. Each piece stands independently, yet together they form a sonic language - fluid, fractured, and open to reordering.

The album resists traditional sequencing, inviting listeners to experience its chapters in any order, revealing new emotional and structural resonances with each pass. It is both a score and a story—abstract yet rooted, experimental yet deeply composed.

A visual counterpart to nitis is currently in production, slated for release in 2026. This episodic film series will mirror the album’s structure: each segment designed to function autonomously while contributing to a larger, immersive narrative arc.
